Dennis Ehling is a partner with Blank Rome LLP and is the co-head of Blank Rome's Gaming practice. He focuses on all aspects of practice in service to the gaming industry. He counsels gaming clients on the regulatory and business implications of licensing, financing, M&A, and restructuring, and advocates on their behalf in all types of civil litigation, including intellectual property, antitrust, contractual disputes, and insolvency matters, as well as criminal investigations. Mr. Ehling has handled complex confidential investigations and regulatory proceedings in connection with online gaming, sweepstakes and promotions, horse racing, sports, and credit card and electronic payments industries. His clients include well-known casino operators, Native American gaming interests, gaming equipment manufacturers, racing and wagering operators, Internet operators, payment providers, vendors, and other companies that invest in, or provide services to, the gaming or racing industry. He has also acted on behalf of both private and public organizations in investigations of allegations of management misconduct and abuse. Mr. Ehling frequently authors on topics related to Internet gambling and advertising, fantasy sports betting, Internet file sharing, Internet payment mechanisms and the challenges for online gaming, use of illegal substances and player misconduct in the sports industry, and arbitration agreements.
