Finance Committee

Shall prepare the budget, monitor and handle all financial matters and issues related to its use

Membership Committee

Shall vet potential members, profile, identify and actively solicit applications as well as propose new member categories to horizontally expand the whole membership basis. It will constantly liaise and work in strict coordination with the New Jurisdictions & Emerging Markets Committee to recruit members in the concerned countries

Sponsorships & Marketing Committee

Procure sponsorship opportunities and launch other marketing initiatives aimed at commercially exploiting, where and to the maximum extent possible – always bearing in mind the non-profit status of the organization – the value of the IMGL brand

Publications, Social Networks, & Digital Communications Committee

Shall be in charge of planning and handling all the IMGL publications, both on paper and digital, as well as running the social networks communication

Young Member Committee

Shall constantly and effectively engage with the members (and prospective ones) under the age of 45 in connection with all the IMGL events, activities and initiatives, encouraging their active participation and role as speakers, contributors and promoters of the organization

Logistics, Organization & Special Events Committee 

Source, shortlist and propose suitable destinations, locations and venues for the IMGL bi-annual conferences and all related social events, liaise with hotels, restaurants and other service providers for contracting purposes, deal with the logistics of any networking and social events in conjunction with gaming industry exhibitions, shows and external conferences which the IMGL is officially involved in

Members: Frider Backu and, by default, the two appointed chairs of the IMGL Spring and Autumn conferences

Education Committee

Shall serve as liaison with the academic world and other educational institutions developing and overseeing gaming law student programs, training courses and competition contests

Nominations & Performance Committee (Including ROY)

Shall identify and approach suitable candidates for the Executive Committee, scrutinise and interview any prospective member, recommend nominations, evaluate and assess the performance and ongoing commitment of the Executive Committee members

New Jurisdictions & Emerging Markets Committee

Shall identify new jurisdictions and emerging markets where the IMGL is not yet or not enough present already as well as suggest prospective members for onboarding purposes in such new jurisdictions

Gaming 4.0 Committee

Shall focus on new products, verticals and other innovations and disruptive trends in the gaming industry with legal and regulatory relevance and propose programming on the same

IMGL Masterclasses

Shall devise, promote, export and deliver the IMGL Masterclass format, content and speakers at all the mainstream gaming industry shows, exhibitions and conferences on a global scale

Legacy, Strategy, & Institutional Relations

Will ensure that the core values, policies and mission of the IMGL are preserved and fulfilled, devise and implement the organisation’s mid-long term strategy, foster strategic relations with all main industry stakeholders (legislators, regulators, educators, recognised opinion makers and mainstream media)
